In recent years, Young Life Greater Ann Arbor has been in the process of rebuilding ministry. We believe we are taking small steps towards the grand vision God is leading us in.

Washtenaw County Capernaum
Focus Efforts:
Consistent club and campaigners meetings that are leader-driven but student-owned.
Leaders continue in all levels of contact work.
Mission Community committee is actively recruiting and growing their team as parents / adults witness impact.
Next Benchmark:
At least 3% of the community of students is regularly involved in the ministry.
Ministry becomes self-sufficient and no longer relies upon staff motivation / supervision.
Goals:
Students move from being served to serving, from disciples to disciple-makers.
Young Life is impacting at minimum 10% of the school community.
Neighboring communities start to notice what is happening to generate new ministry launches.

Dexter HS Young Life
Focus Efforts:
Consistency showing up for students.
Being present on campus at minimum once/week.
Sharing vision for future of YL with students as often as possible answering the question, “why are we here?”
Next Benchmark:
Knowing 100 kids by name.
Developing 10 “key kids,” ready to carry the vision, own the ministry, and invite their friends.
Goals:
Students meeting Christ through YL tools and methodology (leaders building personal relationships with them).
Moving towards consistency in programming (beginning to form a consistent Young Life meeting).

Ann Arbor Pioneer HS Young Life
Focus Efforts:
Consistency showing up for students.
Being present on campus at minimum once/week.
Sharing vision for future of YL with students as often as possible answering the question, “why are we here?”
Next Benchmark:

Spread awareness in the community to recruit a diverse Mission Community of adults reflective of the school.
Pursue relationships with any known students in community.

There is a group of 5-10 students being actively pursued by the leaders’ contact work.
This group goes on a camp trip or visits local YL event to provide vision for future of YL on their campus.
Goals:
